Excellent Whale Watching Trip (but the owner is not very friendly) - Went whale watching with my family. They make you get there at 06:30 but don't leave until 7:00am which is shame. Who wants to stand around doing nothing... read more for half an hour at that time of the morning. The whale watching itself was incredible. Highly recommended. We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owner of this company. She goes down and the most unfriendly person we met in our three weeks in South Africa. She should on a course to learn about customer service.

the only way to see hippos - it was a large crowed but comfortable boat, we had a great tour spotting hippos, but saw little else,

Turtle watching - but no turtles - We went on the night turtle safari on the beach in Nov'19 - supposedly a good time.

We (~10 people) spent >6h on the trip going back and forth... read more on the beach and did not find any turtles - which is very dissappointing. No refund also.

It is understood that sightings cannot be guaranteed, but some form of no-sighting compensation should be considered to avoid disappointments (e.g. free voucher to repeat the trip throughout the next 12 months). Also, the advertising should be more transparent about the chances of sighting (e.g. % of trips without sighting) to set the expectation - instead of only saying "sightings cannot be guaranteed", which does not put any value of the likelihood of success. We paid for the trip, which ultimately was useless and cost us not only the price of the trip, but also an evening which we could have spent otherwise.

That said, everything was very well-organized, professional and safe. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
